Based within east commute from the M65, they operate from state of the art manufacturing facilities and export to a client base across the globe. With progression and a clear development plan, this role is a varied position where you can add value across the business.
Your new role as FP&A Accountant:
As FP&A Accountant you shall work closely with the FP&A Manager to develop and enhance the financial reporting available to stakeholders across the business. The business have seen huge growth over a number of years and due to acquisition, further growth planned and a solid existing business, are looking to add value across the analysis of the business units. As FP&A Accountant you shall have the opportunity to develop and manage both financial and scenario modelling to add value to the decision making process. Developing the link to operations and the manufacturing departments this role will stabilise the business partnering whilst also being involved in the group month end duties.
Main Role Duties:
· Month-end management accounting and supporting financial analysis to provide commercial insight to the month end board pack
· P&L management
· Variance analysis
· Budget and forecast management across various revenue streams and departments
· Stakeholder engagement
· Working with the Operations and manufacturing departments to create new financial models, adding value to the commercial impact as well as providing support to strategic initiatives, planning, profitability reporting and cost control
· Analysing financial management information to provide decision support and guidance across the business
· Develop and maintain business wide Key Performance Indicators and a suite of reports, explaining key trends
· Prepare ad-hoc finance reports and analysis
Experience & Qualifications Required to apply:
To be considered you shall be CIMA /ACCA/ ACA qualified with strong technical skills and a proven track record of adding value in a FP&A environment. You shall be able to demonstrate strong Excel skills being competent in the use of VLOOKUP’s and pivot tables. With excellent attention to detail, a proven ability to work under pressure and with experience of working within a fast paced environment, you shall be proficient at developing strong working relationships across an organisation and have experience of driving change in the way analysis is produced and developed.
