My Client are Regional Build Contractor operating throughout Yorkshire across varied projects (Apartments, Student Accommodation, School, Retail etc). They have a requirement for an experienced Freelance Finishing Foreman for a Student Accommodation Project in York.

THE ROLE:
The project is a 5 floor luxury Student Accommodation Scheme which is close to fit out stage. The purpose of the role is to manage the fit out trades doing the internal package of the project: joinery, M&E, decorating, furniture installation, drylining etc.
• Report to Project Manager
• Day to day management of fit out trades for the internals package
• Ensure all works are carried out in line with H&S
• Ensure programme is met and quality achieved
• Perform QA
• Snagging

THE CANDIDATE:
• Freelance Finishing Foreman from Joinery or Electrical background
• Experience doing fit out on high end apartments
• Keen eye for detail and able to deliver exceptional quality
• Able to work from Programme and Drawings
• Good IT Skills (MS Office, Email)
• CSCS / SMSTS or SSSTS / First Aid
