Freelance General Foreman (Civils)

My Client are a Civils and Groundworks Contractor operating on the Northeast and Yorkshire regions. Due to increased workload there is a requirement for an experienced Freelance General Foreman for a period of 30 weeks.

Scope of works: RC works; bases, walls, blast wall / Drainage / General Civils

Duties:
As a Freelance General Foreman, the successful candidate will be responsible for the following;
• Day to day running of site activities reporting to the Site Manager
• Inductions and Toolbox Talks
• Ensure H&S is being adhered to at all times
• Setting people to work
• Mentor and coach the operatives when required

The Candidate:
• The ideal candidate will come from a Shuttering Joinery background
• Extensive experience with concrete works and general civils
• Experience in supervising up to 30 site operatives
• Good knowledge of health and safety
• Able to read from drawings and understand programme and sequencing
• CSCS / SMSTS or SSSTS / First Aid are all essential for the role.
