My client is a civil engineering main contractor with an annual turnover in excess of £100m. They currently have a high number of civils schemes in Devon and are in the market for a freelance Senior Quantity Surveyor to commercially manage a scheme in Torquay. The expected duration for this position is 12 months (minimum).

The ideal candidate will have:
• Project experience including: roads, drainage, earthworks, bridges/structures, remediation, s38/s278 works, flood alleviation, culverts etc.
• Contract knowledge - NEC3&4 options A-C, ICE, JCT.
• Main & regional contractor background.
