Freelance Site Engineer (Groundworks)

My client are a Civil Engineering, Groundworks and Infrastructure Contractor working across the Northwest and Yorkshire Regions. They have a requirement for a Freelance Site Engineer in the Northwest for a 20 week period.

PROJECT:
Civils and Groundworks for a New Build Supermarket.
Scope of works: Groundworks, Drainage, Access Roads, Ducting, HD Bolts, Slabs, Beams, Columns, Car Park, Surfacing, Kerbs, Small earthworks exercise.

The Role:
• Reporting to a Project Manager
• Responsible for all on site setting-out
• QA and Checking
• As-Built Surveys
• Working from drawings
• Attending Site Meetings
• Maintain records and site diaries with regards to engineering

The Candidate:
• Site Engineer with Experience on Civils Packages for Build projects
• Able to work from drawings
• Able to use Robotic Total Station
• Create As-Built Surveys
• Good communicator
• CSCS is essential for the role
