Laboratory analyst

Kenton Black is a recruitment partner to a food testing laboratory based in Cambridgeshire

Responsibilities:
Analysing food samples using analytical techniques such as GC-FID, GC and GC-MS
Analysing lipid and fat content present in food samples using analytical techniques
Analysis and investigation of results
Routine maintenance and troubleshooting of instrumentation.
Work according to ISO17025 guidelines
To undertake any other reasonable task or responsibility requested by a senior managers
Qualifications:

Degree in chemistry or equivalent
Previous experience in working within a laboratory ( chemistry laboratory, school laboratory) is desired
Previous experience in using analytical techniques such as GC-FID, GC-MS is desired but training will be provided
Excellent communication and written skills
