Graduate / Assistant Quantity Surveyor

£25,000k - £35,000k (depending on experience)

My client is an established national sub-contractor who have progressively grown within the construction industry over their 50 years of business. They specialise in framework, precast concreate and timber frames. They are looking to recruit a Graduate/ Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team.

The role
As an Assistant Quantity Surveyor, they will be involved in the following:
• Final accounts
• Cost plans
• Valuations
• Variations
• Cost reporting

The candidate
This Assistant Quantity Surveyor will receive lots of training and support and taught the company’s processes. But will need the following:
• Able to take approach and find the root of an issue.
• The ability to apply the knowledge and principles of commercial management to construction projects.
• Have commercial awareness to assess margin, risk and cashflow.
• Knowledge of construction, contract law and various forms of conditions of contract.
The package
Salary up to the value of £35,000 depending on experience. The other benefits are as follow:
• 25 days holiday
