Job Type: Hybrid (Full-time) 12 months FTC
Salary: £28,000 to £32,000 per annum
Weekly Hours: 35
Shift Pattern: Monday - Friday

My client is looking to hire an ambitious Graduate Sustainability Officer/Advisor. This role will help deliver my clients' ambitious zero carbon aims as well as the following;

- Passionately communicating a zero-carbon ethos amongst staff, residents, and contractors, through outreach work, team talks, briefing notes, web articles, residents events, and support for internal and resident environmental groups
- Incisive use of data on how homes are used, equipped, and constructed to analyze the performance of housing stock.
- Developing training on environmental issues including expertise in retrofit
- Encouraging the adoption of low carbon travel by coordinating the Electric Vehicle and Charge Point Policy and Procedures

Responsibilities:

- Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders in order to support customers.-
- Support the culture change within the department, internal teams and support the development of sustainability
- Advise and support customers in resolving their queries and issues, ensuring that their expectations are managed and proactive resolutions are identified
- Update and maintain systems/ records to ensure that information/data is kept up to date and accurate and that KPI’s are met
- Ensure that all policies and procedures are adhered to so that consistent and standard practice is achieved across the organization
- Follow Health and Safety policies and procedures to ensure, as far as is practicable, your own safety and that of others in the workplace

You will have:

- A Degree in a related discipline
- Ability to work independently, exercising good initiative and judgement
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proven time management and prioritization skills
- Proven experience and ability to deliver excellent customer care and value diversity
- Proven attention to detail and ability to work on a variety of tasks simultaneously
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines and targets
- To ensure that all policies and procedures are adhered to so that consistent and standard practice is achieved across the organization
