An award winning, large and diverse service based Group in Preston require a commercially minded senior finance professional with proven experience within an FP&A role. This new Group Financial Planning Accountant position includes a combination of routine reporting and project involvement which offers excellent business visibility within a complex Group business structure, compromising of multiple subsidiary business units.

Your New Role as Group Financial Planning Accountant:

Reporting to the Group Head of Financial Planning & Reporting, this is a commercially driven role which has been designed to provide a planning and budgeting service for the Group. Specific responsibilities will include:

• Production of annual business plans for the consolidated Group and entities
• Production of cash flow forecasts
• Support with the annual budgeting process
• Involvement in various projects relating to future business strategy and system enhancements
• Developing and maintaining strong working relationships with various key internal stakeholders
• Being a key player in continual improvement initiatives, identifying areas for improved and robust controls

Experience & Qualifications Required to Apply:

To be considered, you will be a fully qualified and analytically minded accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA) with relevant experience within an FP&A remit. Commercially driven, you will ideally have large business exposure and strong Excel skills are imperative as you will be required to handle complex spreadsheets with large data volumes. Proven experience of implementing process improvements is also required and you will be a strong communicator, capable of maintaining strong working relationships with a variety of stakeholders.
