Your New Role As Head of FP&A/Projects:
Based in Warrington, this position will lead a small team to add commercial value to the decision making process of a multi-site operation. Leading on projects across the business you shall manage the relationships across many complicated and detailed contracts whilst ensuring the production of analysis is provided across all areas of the business. You shall be responsible for the production of monthly forecasts, the budget setting process and analysis of actuals.
Responsibilities will include:
• Take the lead across multiple projects of a financial nature within the group
• Budget and forecast management
• Reporting and analysis across various contracts, providing support and commentary to guide decision making
• Analyse current and past trends and variance analysis on key performance indicators
• Support and analyse monthly financials, alongside the Financial Controller to ensure the smooth and timely production of month-end accounting
• Partner with the commercial heads and operational model of the business to assist and monitor the forecasting process
• Assist in developing accurate and timely monthly forecasts, long term plans and budgets.
• Management and development of 2 staff in the department
Experience & Qualifications Required To Apply:
You shall be a qualified (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) accountant with a minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role. A strong communicator with a proven track record of effective collaborative working, you shall have the confidence and technical ability to provide detailed analysis of financial data and the ability to influence while assisting others understand and digest the numbers. You shall have already operated in an FP&A position and have strong excel skills. With staff management experience and the aptitude to instigate and drive change, you shall also be prepared to question the current ways of working to enhance process and procedure.
