I am working exclusively with a leading construction client to appoint an HSEQ Manager for build projects in central London. This business is a major player worldwide and is an incredible opportunity for the right person. Day to day, you'll be helping to drive the highest Health & Safety standards. You'll work closely with the client, as well as the Group Health & Safety Director.
A confident and experienced influencer - You'll be an H&S professional within the business responsible for embedding continuous improvement into the strategy and engaging with the client.
An organized and able strategist - You'll be working with the client and key internal stakeholders to maintain a dynamic Health & Safety strategy.
An innovator - You'll thrive on new ideas and challenging traditional methods of working. You'll win the hearts and minds of a variety of stakeholders, both internally and externally, to ensure operational teams take accountability and ownership of H&S performance.
In terms of experience;
It's important that you have proven experience working in the construction sector, either in Build or civil engineering.
It's essential that you have experience working with lifting, working at height, and ideally an Authorized Person.
If you can demonstrate that you're able to build relationships at every level, from building site to the boardroom, that will go a long way.
Some creativity and evidence of collaboratively solving problems in your current health & safety role are welcome.
You will be based in the South East of England, with easy access to central London – travel will be expensed.
In return for your skills and expertise, you'll be met with a salary of up to £65,000 dependent on your experience, private healthcare and a discretionary bonus.
