A highly reputable infrastructure contractor is looking for a Heath And Safety Manager to join them and help support the function during a sustained period of growth, working on major utility schemes. You will play a key role in managing H&S Advisors, managing performance, and driving Health & Safety from the top down. This is a superb opportunity for an experienced safety manager to take the step towards a head of H&S position.

Reporting to the Head of Health & Safety, you will be:
• Internal auditing experience and preferably already have an internal auditor’s qualification
• Developing risk assessments and method statements and maintaining management system documentation
• Experienced in managing, coaching, and mentoring personnel across HSEQ
• Comfortable from site to board level
• Vetting subcontractors to ensure competence
• Ensuring project teams are proactive, updated, and compliant

You will also have:
• Construction/Utilities/Engineering sector experience
• CMIOSH (DESIRED)
• NEBOSH or NCRQ (ESSENTIAL)
• Diploma level or equivalent (DESIRED)
• Self-motivated and autonomous
• A desire to develop and progress
