Health and Safety Manager – Construction
Up to £50k Basic Salary + Package including Car/Allowance, Pension
Yorkshire
We are currently looking for a Health and Safety Manager with experience in the construction sector to join the busy team in their West Yorkshire of this highly respected construction contractor to support on projects throughout Yorkshire.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITY
The Health and Safety Manager, reporting to and taking a lead from the Managing Director, will be responsible for providing support & advice to fellow employees at a local level to ensure Health & Safety messages are delivered at site level. Checking, reporting and acting on Health & Safety statistics to improve performance will also play an important part of the role. You will also be expected to assist with and keep up to date versions of Construction Phase Health & Safety Plans
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
We are looking for a candidate with previous HSEQ experience within the construction sector who possesses the following skills/experience:
Full valid UK Driving Licence
NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent but ideally IOSH
Great communication skills – spreading the HSEQ message effectively is crucial.
You’ll also be able to analyse and act on data that is collected and new regulations.
