Our client an established main contractor located in the Midlands are actively in the market for an experienced Bid/Proposals Co-Ordinator for their Pre-Construction Department.

The company currently enjoys a turnover of c£500 million and deliver building projects ranging in value up to £50 million. They have regional offices around the country, however this particular opportunity is located in their Midlands region in Solihull.
You will work closely with the Pre-Construction & Estimating Team and will report directly to the Estimating Director.

This is an immediate requirement and our client in ready to interview next week.
Bid/Proposal Coordination experience within a Construction company is essential.

Hybrid working is available // 12 month contract to cover maternity leave
Summary and purpose:

The Bid/Proposals Coordinator will produce capability documents, presentation documents, pre-qualification questionnaire, single and first stage tenders and other proposals documents. The role will include departmental responsibilities, as set by the Senior Proposals Coordinator, the business plan, and day to day needs of the department. The individual will demonstrate a good knowledge and experience of the proposals coordinator role and will be expected to complete all documents with minimal assistance.

Main Responsibilities and Duties:
Read, identify & allocate tender deliverables
Liaise with external printers and develop strong working relationships
Work with standard in-design templates to collate and present proposals documents
Write and contribute to document sections (written and graphics)
Proof read sections from internal and external teams
Manage, track and collate information for submissions
Provide document draft/sketch book, collate and action comments
Create attractive, consistent and visually pleasing page layouts and documents
Proof read and preprint flight checks
Issue final documents to printers (where applicable) in print quality format with page bleeds, no image pixilation
Internal print and bind documents (where applicable) to a high standard
Print and collate tender documents
Provide template and design solutions for bespoke tender documents (when required)
Specify technical document print production requirements
Attain technical document external print and production prices
Demonstrate a strong understanding of print production and generating document specifications
Liaise with external printers and develop strong working relationships
Attend and contribute to departmental meetings and workshops
