Company Details and Job Overview:

An experienced senior finance professional is required to support a service based SME on an interim basis, to provide valuable support throughout the recruitment process for the permanent Financial Controller role. An immediate start is available and a temp to perm arrangement may be considered for the interim postholder. A competitive pay rate and flexible working arrangements will be offered.

Following a recent system implementation, an analytical view is required to ensure the system is working to its best potential. Operating as number 1 in finance, the role will lead a small finance team and remain hands on in month end accounting activities including management accounts production and business partnering with departmental heads.

Experience & Qualifications Required to Apply:

To be considered, you will be able to begin working immediately or at short notice. You will be capable of adapting to the systems and processes within the business and quickly identify, recommend and begin implementing improvements where required. Strong communication skills are required with the ability to advise, influence and challenge at all levels.

The successful candidate will be proven in a similar level number 1 finance role within an SME environment. Strong technical finance skills are required and you will demonstrate good commercial acumen with the ability to provide valuable input and challenge where necessary. You will be a strong leader with excellent communication skills and implementing ongoing positive change within a finance function.
