Job Title: Lab Technician

Location: Kent, UK

I’ve partnered with  a leading global company in the field of water and waste management. We are looking for a Lab Technician to join their team in Kent. As a Lab Technician, you will work in the laboratory to conduct tests and analysis on water and wastewater samples and gain valuable hands-on experience.

The Role:

• Conduct various tests and analysis on water and wastewater samples according to standard operating procedures.
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, including spectrophotometers, titrators, and pH meters.
• Keep accurate records of test results and maintain laboratory documentation.
• Assist with the calibration and verification of laboratory equipment.
• Support other laboratory staff with their tasks and responsibilities.
• Adhere to laboratory safety procedures and protocols.

The Person:

• Bachelor's degree in chemistry, environmental science, or a related field.
• Familiarity with standard laboratory safety procedures and protocols.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in recording data and maintaining records.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
