Laboratory analyst

Kenton Black is a recruitment partner to a environmental testing laboratory based in Kent

Responsibilities:

Analysing soil and water samples using analytical techniques such as ICP, ICP-OES and GC-MS
Analysis and investigation of results
Develop and validate SOPs
Routine maintenance and troubleshooting of instrumentation.
Work according to ISO17025 guidelines
To undertake any other reasonable task or responsibility requested by a senior manager
Qualifications:

Degree in Science or equivalent
Previous experience in working within a laboratory ( chemistry laboratory, school laboratory)
Previous experience in using analytical techniques such as ICP-OES, GC-MS but training will be provided
Excellent communication and written skills
