The Laboratory manager will be responsible for managing activities within the laboratory, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and guidelines.
- Hold a degree in a relevant scientific field (BSc or equivalent) (Essential)
- Minimum of 5 years of experience working in a laboratory setting (Advantageous)
- Preferred but not required: Minimum of 2 years of external team supervision or 1 year of internal team coaching/mentoring experience (Advantageous)
- Ensure efficient laboratory operations, collaborating with departmental management to adhere to schedules and optimize equipment and personnel utilization.
- Oversee general laboratory maintenance, including procurement and stock check, while maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
- Provide assistance to laboratory teams in troubleshooting assays and analytical systems.
- Act as a Study Manager for assay validation studies, ensuring compliance with timelines and regulatory/technical requirements.
- Collaborate with the Senior Technical Specialist on method development studies.
- Conduct method development, validation, and sample analysis when necessary.
- Manage and complete necessary documentation within the Quality Management System.
- Manage laboratory personnel, defining roles and responsibilities, offering training, development, and performance management.
- Ensure the team's efficient performance, ensuring timely completion of operational activities.
