My client specializes in the supply of groundworks and civil engineering to house builders around the UK. Their service compromises of supplying sites around the UK with Plant – Small Tools and Lifting Equipment. This company is looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated individual with a flexible attitude to carry out inspections of Lifting Equipment on their sites. The main objective of the role will be to carry out thorough examinations and or proof test client and third-party-owned lifting equipment. And also to ensure all equipment complies with the relevant industry standards, and legislation and is fit for continued use.

Job Description
- Carry out LOLER inspection on various types of Lifting Equipment
- Service, Repair & Inspect Lifting Equipment on our sites & the company's workshops
- Complete necessary paperwork in line with the company set procedures
- Adhering to Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment regulations
Experience & Qualifications
- Experience of carrying out Lifting Equipment inspections on items including Single leg and Four Leg Chains, Wide Wall Lifters, Gully and Pipe Lifters, Pipe Hooks, Drop Nose Lifting Pins, Block Grabs, Fork Attachments plus various other forms for Lifting & Handling Equipment
- A minimum of LEEA Lifting Equipment Theory Certificates or diplomas preferred or Equivalent qualification in CSCS or NPORS
- Good knowledge of inspection techniques applicable to Lifting Equipment
- A good understanding of the fundamentals of general engineering required
- Good understanding of method statement and risk assessments
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Attention to detail and accuracy when completing inspection paperwork
- Competent in using a tablet to record testing and completing job cards
Salary: Up to £35,000
