A leader in their field, and a business who have continual growth for many years, they are seeking a talented and progressive Management Accountant to join an established team who can develop further and add value in a fast paced, dynamic environment.
Your new role as Management Accountant:
As Management Accountant you shall be responsible for the effective and timely production of management information to support the strategic decision making process. You shall take the lead in the production of financial and management accounts and additional analysis to increase the detail to the board pack. Able to control of the budgeting, year end and cashflow functions you shall ensure all deadlines are adhered to at all times.
This role reports to the Senior Management Team, As Management Accountant you shall operate as part of a small team, focusing on financial accounting, financial reporting, and systems/process development to ensure there are also improvements made to increase efficiency across process and procedure.
Main Role Duties:
• Monitoring company accounts and conducting quarterly reviews
• Profit-and-loss statements
• Tax preparation
• Submit CIS returns monthly
• Producing various reports when required by the higher management team
• Review payroll and assist when required
• Produce recharge invoices for intercompany
• Approve all credit card and expense claims for office-based employees
• Preparing year-end file for audit and dealing with queries
• Overlook the work of the Accounts Department team, help and guide
• Resolve and correct queries and discrepancies
• QTR VAT Returns
• Monthly management accounts – including Cost assignment
• Daily tasks such as bank reconciliation, factoring uploads, Stock invoice processing
• Processing Journals
• Reconciliation of balance sheet accounts, Major supplier accounts
• Ad hoc duties
Experience & Qualifications Required to apply:
You shall be part/fully ACCA ACA or CIMA qualified with a minimum of 3 years experience in a similar Management Accounting role. With solid technical skills, and able to improve process through your knowledge of procedures and best practice, you shall also be well rehearsed across month end duties and operated in a fast paced, diverse business environment. Hands-on in the production of detailed analysis and supporting board pack detail, you shall also have a proven track record of supervising juniors in finance and have the ability to manage your own workload, whilst ensuring deadlines are met.
