A sizeable division of a larger parent group are experiencing significant growth and as such have created a new Management Accountant position within their finance function.

This is an ideal opportunity for a CIMA/ACCA/ACA studier or finalist to gain hands on exposure across the entire finance spectrum to complement their studies. This could be an excellent springboard opportunity as this role is expected to grow into a more senior position in the short to medium term. Therefore, my client is looking to appoint a career driven and ambitious individual with aspirations to progress within their role.

Your New Role as Management Accountant:

With full support and guidance from the Financial Controller, as Management Accountant you will be heavily involved in the production of the management accounts pack for the business. You will also be required to provide financial support including ad hoc analysis and reports to various stakeholders within the Group to aid effective business decisions.

Alongside routine financial duties, you will be a key player in several upcoming projects such as supporting with the implementation of a new finance system as well as being a key player in driving continual improvement initiatives including streamlining/developing existing processes.

Experience & Qualifications Required to Apply:

Although not essential, part or full CIMA/ACCA/ACA qualification is desired and a full study package will be available for the successful candidate if required. Strong IT skills are essential, particularly good working knowledge of Excel as you will be required to handle large data volumes. Good communication skills are imperative as you will adopt a business partnering capacity and will often be required to communicate key financial findings to a variety of stakeholders at all levels.
