Kenton Black Finance are supporting a successful organisation in Cumbria with the recruitment of a new Management Accountant. This new role has been created following a recent acquisition which has increased the size of the business and its revenue significantly.

Your New Role as Management Accountant:

In a hands on Management Accountant role, you will gain varied exposure spanning the finance function. With support from the Financial Controller, your remit will involve:

• Preparation of monthly management accounts
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• VAT returns
• Supporting the FC with budgeting and forecasting activities
• Assisting with statutory accounting requirements and audit
• Overseeing sales ledger and purchase ledger duties performed by the Accounts Assistants
• Exposure to M&A activity

Experience & Qualifications Required to Apply:

The successful candidate will be CIMA/ACCA/ACA qualified or actively studying, approaching final stages. It is preferred that you have ambition to further develop your career as there are succession plans in place for this role to develop into a more senior finance position, with more commercial and strategic business involvement.
