Your new role as Management Accountant:

As Management Accountant you shall work closely with the divisional finance lead and liaise directly with the local business partners as a key part of the communication with the operational teams in both the UK and abroad. As Management Accountant you shall develop and drive the business through a period of growth, change and diversification. Managing aspects of company stock you shall provide insightful managing reporting and manage intercompany transactions. With a focus on the production of commercial analysis, you shall also be exposed to future business interests and work on a number of projects to analyse the development of future products, their base and focus on customers or geographical expansion to other areas across the globe.

Day to day duties:
• Production of accurate and timely management accounts for the international entity as well as one of the UK subsidiaries.
• Budget and forecasting preparation
• Management of the administration behind payables, accruals, pre-payments, bank and inter-company reconciliations,
• Multi-currency transaction management
• Balance sheet reconciliations on a monthly basis
• Provision of financial reporting to enhance the commercial decision making process

Experience & Qualifications Required to apply:

With strong technical skills across the month and year end process you shall also be commercially driven and able to add value in the production of detailed and meaningful financial analysis. With a proven track record of adding value in a management accounting role. QBE/ or part/fully qualified (CIMA/ACCA/ACA/CTA) you shall be hands-on with the experience of maintaining tight financial controls whilst developing and improving process and financial data. Ideally the above experience would have been gained whilst working within a wholesale, retail or manufacturing business environment where your skills match the requirements above.
