A Group of businesses in Blackpool are looking to recruit a new Management Accountant within one of their sizeable business units. Your New Role as Management Accountant:

The new Management Accountant will report to an engaging Head of Finance who is a keen mentor and will commit to providing ongoing support and training. In this role, there will be a strong emphasis on implementing new and improved procedures and controls, therefore an inquisitive and systems orientated individual would suit this role well.

Duties will include:

• Maintain monthly management accounts for associated business entities
• Production of annual budgets
• Support with forecasting
• Calculate variances from the budget
• Provide financial analysis as required
• Payroll processing
• Liaising with various departmental heads to deliver and financial insight and advice

Experience & Qualifications Required to Apply:

The ideal candidate will be an experienced Management Accountant comfortable working within a fast-paced and complex but interesting business structure. You will be analytically minded with good systems skills including MS Excel (pivot tables, VLookups, SUMIFS), and knowledge of Xero is desirable but not essential. With a forward thinking approach to your work, you will enjoy providing recommendations for improved processes within finance, receiving ongoing support from the Head of Finance.
