Company Details and Job Overview:

A Management Accountant is required in Blackpool for 6-12 months to cover maternity leave. There is potential for this role to become permanent after this time.

Your New Role as Management Accountant:

As Management Accountant, you will enjoy a varied and hands on role with specific duties including:

• Assisting with the production of monthly management accounts
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Accruals, prepayments and journals
• Support with production of budgets and forecasts
• Support with year end requirements and audit
• Monitor and review job costing and project budgets
• Managing various small projects to review and enhance operational processes
• Stock management including stock reconciliation and adjustments
• Business partnering with Heads of Departments to provide financial insight on cost control and expected spend

Experience & Qualifications Required to Apply:

To be considered, you will be already well established in a similar level finance role and be available to begin working before the end of October 2023. Support will be available from their experienced FD and the finance team and you will receive a comprehensive handover to ensure a smooth transition into the role. Strong Excel skills are essential including knowledge of pivot tables and VLookups as you will be required to work across various spreadsheets, handling and manipulating large and complex data sets. Knowledge of the Access Dimensions system is desirable but not essential. You will be a confident communicator as this role incorporates many business partnering elements and you will be a key player in various projects which require working cross-functionally with various non-finance staff.
