Marketing Assistant

Kenton Black Scientific is a recruitment partner to a global cosmetic and detergent laboratory based in Manchester. They are looking to hire an experienced marketing executive to join their team.

Responsibilities:

Responsible for efficiently marketing company’s services to their clients
Utilize LinkedIn and other social media platforms to increase and maintain brand awareness
Responsible for writing PR material for the UK market and increase relationship awareness with relevant UK industry press
Create adverts, videos and other marketing materials
Responsible for keeping local website content up to date using SEO techniques
Identify opportunities for business promotion including via print, online, events and sponsorship channels
Analysing marketing insights
Contributing ideas to marketing campaigns

Qualifications:

Degree in Marketing or relevant subject is desired
Proven experience in working as a marketing specialist
The ability to generate successful marketing campaigns and individual marketing materials
Identify and capitalize on opportunities resulting from marketing activities
Be competent in use of MS packages particularly Word, Excel, Microsoft BI, PowerPoint
Have a successful commercial / marketing/sales background including use of social media
Experience in working within cosmetic testing/cosmetic manufacturing is desired
