Job Title: Organic Chemistry Lab Manager

As a Lab Manager, you will play a critical role in overseeing the operations of our organic chemistry laboratory and ensuring the delivery of high-quality testing services. • Lead and manage the organic chemistry laboratory, including the supervision and development of a team of chemists and technicians.
• Oversee and ensure the smooth operation of all laboratory activities, including sample testing, method development, and validation.
• Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) and quality control protocols to maintain high standards of accuracy and reliability in testing.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices within the laboratory (GMP / ISO 17025).
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to the laboratory team as needed.
• Ph.D. or Master's degree in Chemistry or a related field.
• Extensive experience in organic chemistry, with a focus on analytical testing and methodology.
• Proven track record in a laboratory management role, preferably in a testing environment.
• Strong understanding of analytical techniques used in organic chemistry, such as chromatography (HPLC, GC), spectroscopy (UV-Vis, IR, NMR), and mass spectrometry.
• Familiarity with method development, validation, and optimization processes.
• Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
