Kenton Black Finance are representing a friendly, small financial firm who are seeking to appoint a capable and experienced Payroll & Accounts Administrator to work in a stand alone, autonomous role, working either FULL TIME OR PART TIME over 3 or 5 days per week from their offices in the Altrincham area.

This opportunity is suited to someone with both Payroll processing and some accounts/bookkeeping experience, who is now seeking to join a friendly firm offering a great place to work within a small team providing parking, pension, 4 weeks hols!

This role involves a varied workload on a 50/50 split basis of weekly and monthly payroll processing for a varied client portfolio of both small and larger clients, together with accounts/bookkeeping duties once payroll duties have been performed.

Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to: -

This is a full end to end role comprising of the following duties:

Payroll processing via Brightpay payroll (training provided on software)
Dealing with SMP/SSP
Pension, auto enrolment uploading of details to the pension system/portal
Dealing with starters/leavers, P45/P46’s
Setting up of new clients
RTI
Client/HMRC liaison

Person Specification

This role requires someone with previous payroll and accounts experience ideally gained within accountancy/bureau. HOWEVER, my client will also consider strong payroll experience and accounts within industry so if you are seeking a new challenge in a friendly environment, that offers you autonomy, this is one for you!
