Kenton Black Finance are delighted to represent a professional, lively company in Stockport, who due to business success expansion are seeking to appoint a TRAINEE Payroll Administrator to join their friendly payroll team. This position offers a lively and fast paced environment together with full payroll processing training. You will work alongside a team within a fast paced, dynamic environment, assisting in processing of payrolls on behalf of a varied portfolio of business clients. The successful Trainee Payroll Administrator will possess a strong desire to work within the payroll industry, possess previous office administration/customer service experience with data entry/typing and confident communication skills .
This role is working within a dynamic payroll processing environment, therefore the ability to work to deadlines, maintaining a high level of courtesy to clients and colleagues alike and attention to detail is essential. The role offers fully supported payroll training on payroll software and full end to end payroll processing procedures.

Your New Role As Trainee Payroll Administrator:

As Trainee Payroll Administrator, you will be working within a busy payroll team, being fully supported within your training to successfully process payrolls end to end on a weekly and monthly basis on behalf of your own portfolio of clients. In addition you will deal effectively with client queries both over email and by telephone, processing starters/leavers, P45's/P46's, processing SSP,SMP and much more!

Day To Day Duties:

Full training support to undertake end to end payroll processing payroll system (training provided) to ultimately deal with your own client portfolio
Dealing with auto enrolment/ pension schemes
Dealing with HMRC queries on behalf of clients and providing RTI
Processing of P45/P46’s, P60’s
Dealing with SSP/SMP

Experience & Qualifications Required To Apply:

The successful Trainee Payroll Administrator candidate should have the desire to learn payroll and be willing to work as part of team. You should also possess previous office/finance/administration experience, be a team player, able to work to deadlines and have strong customer service/communication skills.
