An exciting opportunity has arisen at one of the UK’s fasted growing Logistics companies based in Warrington. Due to significant growth, our client is looking for a Payroll Assistant to join their expanding team based in their HQ Warrington.

Your new role as a Payroll Assistant:

You will be joining a high volume fast paced payroll team and you will be assisting the payroll team in providing a payroll service across the Group. This is a busy, very friendly, sociable place to work. For this role, Payroll experience is desirable but not essential, as training will be provided. The company would also look to fund payroll related courses.

Day to day duties: (training will be provided)

• Processing weekly and monthly payroll on Sage 50 payroll
• Collating and checking of weekly timesheets
• Updating spreadsheets with new starters, employment details, overtime hours
• Carry out pension enrolment
• Process payroll queries
• Any other ad-hoc duties

Experience & Qualifications Required to apply:

• Keen to begin or continue a career in Payroll/Finance
• Knowledge of Microsoft Excel is desirable.
• Maths and English GCSE Grade C or above or equivalent
• Ability to work in a changing and flexible organisation
• High attention to detail
• Organised and efficient
