A privately owned, service based business are recruiting for a Payroll Assistant in Carnforth. This is a role that is now required due to growth. This is a full time, office based role. This is a fantastic opportunity which provides the successful candidate with a great platform to extend their knowledge and further their finance specific expertise.

Your new role as Payroll Assistant:

As their new Payroll Assistant you will be assisting with the day to day payroll duties, with some HR duties such as annual leave included. Part of your daily duties will include processing payroll across a multi-site operation. As Payroll Assistant you shall be responsible for the day to day management of the staff payroll, also managing the process to for annual and sick leave. You shall prepare and distribute hard copy or electronic copies of monthly payslips and ensure year end payroll reporting is completed on time and in accordance to strict deadlines.

Experience & Qualifications required to apply:

To be considered, you must possess at least 1 years’ experience in a payroll function within a similar role, and be competent in using Sage Payroll system. You will have high attention to detail, be organised and meticulous. You must possess in depth excel knowledge, being able to analyse and deal with data from spreadsheets. Previous exposure to some element of HR is desirable.
