Kenton Black Finance are delighted to represent this friendly, professional firm in the Birkenhead area, who now due to continued business expansion, are seeking to appoint a REMOTE/HYBRID or OFFICE based Payroll Administrator to join their small and friendly payroll team The position requires previous experience within a similar end to end payroll processing role, undertaking payroll processing for multi payrolls across a varied portfolio of clients, therefore a bureau/accountancy practice background AND knowledge of STAR/IRIS would be advantageous. This role is available on a FULL TIME OR PART TIME BASIS to work OFFICE, HYBRID OR REMOTE based!

Your New Role As Payroll Administrator:

You will be working as part of a small, friendly payroll team within either a remote, hybrid or office based role (your choice!). You will be responsible for providing full end to end payroll processing for weekly/monthly/fortnightly payrolls using STAR/IRIS payroll systems, running the payroll function on behalf of your own portfolio of medium to large sized clients.

Day To Day Duties:

Full end to end payroll processing - ideally experience of either STAR/IRIS payroll systems (training can be provided) including import/export and reports
Generating BACS payments
RTI & dealing with HMRC liaison & queries on behalf of clients
Setting up of auto enrolment pension schemes,
Dealing with an knowledge of PAYE/NIC schemes dealing with SSP/SMP and much more!
Running your own portfolio of client payrolls and working as a team
Processing payroll changes as requested by client
Dealing with employee queries
Setting up of new payroll clients
Processing of P45/P46’s, P60’s

Experience & Qualifications Required To Apply:

The successful candidate should possess previous payroll bureau experience and ideally previous knowledge of STAR/IRIS payroll (training can be provided) and Excel skills. In addition, be a team player possessing a high level of attention to detail and be able to work on their own initiative. You will be joining an established team that is expanding due to business success.
