Kenton Black are proud to represent an award winning and progressive accountancy practice in Chesterfield who are now seeking to appoint a Payroll Executive. Working as part of a friendly, supportive team, you will undertake a busy and varied role dealing with your own portfolio of clients, answering queries, undertaking administration duties.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a friendly and stable environment for experienced individual with previous payroll bureau experience within a practice environment.

Duties included but not limited to:

Payroll processing - full end to end via STAR (IRIS)
SMP/SSP
HMRC liaison
Auto-enrolment pension processing
Dealing with client queries over the telephone
Collating and inputting of payroll information
Working as part of a busy payroll team
Administration duties

Person Specification:

Previous experience of running weekly/monthly payrolls end to end within ideally an accountancy practice/bureau -
Knowledge of STAR (IRIS) (ideally previous knowledge, training can be provided)
Flexible and adaptable approach
Auto-enrolment pensions experience
Client liaison experience, able to deal with payroll queries
Friendly personality, able to work in a team environment

Salary: to c £28K + 22days hols + 3 X Life Cover+ Health cover + HYBRID working + Pension!
