Kenton Black are delighted to work in partnership with a progressive, award winning accountancy firm in the Chesterfield area who are now seeking a Payroll Executive. Working as part of a friendly, supportive team, you will undertake a busy and varied role dealing with your own portfolio of clients, answering client queries, dealing with administration duties.

This is an superb opportunity to join a friendly, stable environment for an experienced payroll individual with previous payroll bureau experience within a practice/bureau environment.

Duties included but not limited to:

Payroll processing - full end to end via STAR (IRIS)
Liaison with HMRC
SMP/SSP
Auto-enrolment/ processing pensions
Dealing with client queries over the telephone
Collating/inputting of payroll information
Working as an integral member of a fast moving and busy payroll team environment

Person Specification:

Previous experience of full end to end processing weekly/monthly payrolls within ideally an accountancy practice/bureau

Knowledge of STAR (IRIS) (Training can be provided)
Flexible and adaptable approach to duties and able to work as part of a team
Auto-enrolment pensions experience
Client liaison experience, able to deal with payroll queries
Friendly personality and can do attitude

Salary: to c £28K + 22days hols + 3 X Life Cover+ Health cover + HYBRID working + Pension!
