Role Overview:
As a Personal Tax Assistant, you will be an integral part of their tax team, responsible for supporting clients in managing their personal tax affairs efficiently and in compliance with relevant regulations. You will work closely with experienced tax professionals, gaining valuable insights and building your expertise in personal taxation.

Key Responsibilities:
• Assisting in the preparation and review of personal tax returns for a diverse client base.
• Conducting research on tax laws and regulations to ensure accurate and up-to-date advice.
• Liaising with clients to gather relevant financial information and resolve queries.
• Identifying tax-saving opportunities and advising clients on tax planning strategies.
• Keeping abreast of changes in tax legislation and analysing their impact on client tax positions.
• Supporting senior tax professionals with complex tax matters and special projects.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of personal taxation and relevant laws.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in using tax software and MS Office applications.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Professional qualifications such as ATT (Association of Taxation Technicians) or working towards it.
• Previous experience in personal tax preparation or related tax roles.
