Our Client, a leading and reputable firm of Chartered Accountants in York have a significant presence in Yorkshire and whilst very established, are still a growing accountancy, tax and business advisory firm with lots to offer their employees re long term career development.

Due to continued growth they are looking to recruit a Personal Tax Manager

ROLE OVERVIEW

Working within their tax department as Personal Tax Manager, you will provide personal taxation services to an allocated diverse portfolio of clients, in a role and environment where you can progress your career.

AS PERSONAL TAX MANAGER, KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

-Preparation and reviewing of partnership and personal tax returns
-Tax advisory work
-Dealing with HMRC enquiries
-Provide training support to the trainee accountants within you team
-Building and maintaining client relationships
-Identifying tax planning opportunities

PERSON SPECIFICATION/ ACADEMIC REQUIREMENTS

-You will be either ATT / ACA / ACCA / CTA qualified with a personal tax compliance background.
-If you are part-qualified with existing experience in personal tax then you too may be considered, with study support available

WORKING ARRANGEMENTS

-The working week: 35 hours per week, to be worked from 9.00am to 5.00pm Monday to Friday.
