Our Client a leading and reputable firm of Chartered Accountants in York have a significant presence in Yorkshire and whilst very established, are still a growing accountancy, tax and business advisory firm with lots to offer their employees re long term career development.

Due to continued growth they are looking to recruit a Personal Tax Senior

ROLE OVERVIEW

Working within their tax department as Personal Tax Senior, you will provide personal taxation services to an allocated diverse portfolio of clients, in a role and environment where you can progress your career.

AS PERSONAL TAX SENIOR, KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

-Preparation of partnership tax returns
-Preparation of personal tax returns
-Assisting with the reporting of capital disposals under the 60 day reporting regime
-Checking the appropriateness of PAYE coding notices
-Building and maintaining client relationships
-Checking tax calculations and repayments

PERSON SPECIFICATION/ ACADEMIC REQUIREMENTS

-You will be either ATT / ACA / ACCA / CTA qualified with a personal tax compliance background.
-Part qualified candidates with existing experience in personal tax may be considered, with study support available

WORKING ARRANGEMENTS

-The working week: 35 hours per week, to be worked from 9.00am to 5.00pm Monday to Friday.
