Physical chemistry scientist
I am currently recruiting for physical chemistry scientist position for a global pharmaceutical laboratory based in Kent.
Responsible for analysing pharmaceutical products using physical chemistry techniques such as solubility and Intrinsic dissolution
Design experiments to further the formulation and process development of dosage forms for novel drug candidates.
Utilize basic physical chemistry and analytical techniques for example Powder X-ray Diffraction (PXRD) and High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC). Interpret scientific data to derive clear conclusions and provide direction for future work.
To design, conduct and interpret biorelevant dissolution studies to assess dosage form performance.
Responsible for interpretation of test data and record
Responsible for present data at team meetings
Degree in Pharmaceutical sciences or equivalent
Previous experience in working in a GMP laboratory and industrial experience in using techniques such as bio-relevant dissolution testing, PXRD, HPLC analysis
Previous experience in working in a R&D role with expertise in drug discovery, pre-formulation and formulation of pharmaceutical dosage forms.
Experience in drug product development is essential
