ABOUT THE FIRM

Our Client an established and reputable firm of Chartered Accountants with offices across the North West are currently seeking to recruit an experience Practice Bookkeeper to join their outsourcing team. They work with SME’s and Owner Managed businesses with leading expertise and a personalised approach when working with clients.
Reporting to the Outsourcing Partner the successful candidate will have at least 3 years’ experience

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITY OF PRACTICE BOOKKEEPER

-Managing own portfolio of Bookkeeping clients
-End to End Bookkeeping services both in house and on client premises
-Inputting data onto cloud accounting software/ bookkeeping systems
-Purchase ledger and sales ledger processing
-Bank reconciliations
-Accounts to trial balance
-Monthly VAT returns
-Meeting strict deadlines

SKILLS/ EXPERIENCE REQUIRED IN THE ROLE OF PRACTICE BOOKKEEPER

-Minimum of 3 years’ experience of end to end Bookkeeping
-Full and current practice background
-Cloud Accounting Software experience with ability to pick up new software with ease
-Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both oral and written
-Use of own initiative
-Good team player
-Highly organised and ability to prioritise own workload
-Effective attention to detail
-Car driver desirable
