Process Chemist/Chemical Engineer

Kenton Black are pleased to offer a great opportunity for an early careers process chemist or chemical engineer, with a bit of experience under their belt, to join a bluie chip company who are leaders in their field. The department is chiefly concerned with the research and development of water purifcation technology.

On a day today basis the successful applicant will be involved in operating new technologies and processes, creating laboratory-scale test rigs, prototypes and finished products.

This will include, design of process and test methodology, component specification, test rig build & automation/controls, sample collection/testing, mass balances, performance monitoring & optimisation, and work write-up.

The role is likely to suit a graduate in chemistry, chemical engineering or similar. You should have excellent problem solving skills, and have some experience working on a team of scientists/engineers to solve practical problems. You should also be a hands on person with a pro-active approach to work.
