My Client are an SME contractor covering the Yorkshire and Northeast regions across varied sectors and disciplines. They is a requirement for a Senior Site Manager/Project Manager for a 12 month period to deliver a 30 unit new build housing site which includes 3 and 4 bedroom houses as well as 4 story flats.

The Role:
• As the Number One on site you will report to a Contracts Manager and be responsible for the successful delivery of the project.
• Manage all day to day site operations
• Manage Subcontractors: Groundworks, Bricklayers, Fit-Out etc.
• Work with commercial team to ensure the project remains on budget
• Short term planning and programming
• Inductions and tool box talks
• Ensure a safe working environment is maintained at all times

The Candidate
• A minimum of 5-8 years in the Construction industry
• Experience working on New Build Housing projects as a Senior Site Manager
• Excellent knowledge of Health and Safety
• CSCS / SMSTS / First Aid / Clean UK Driving License – all essential
