Tier 1 Contractor - Permanent Role

Our client is currently recruiting for a Site Agent to join their busy site team on a high profile Civils/Highways/Public Realm Project in North Yorkshire. They are established in the region with work for the next 3-5 years secured.

Role/requirements as follows:

Support for the Project Manager in translation of programme in to weekly delivery schedules
Day to day overseeing of a number of Sub Agents and Site Engineers
Taking control of H&S protocols to ensure safe delivery of the scheme
Working with sub-contractors and direct staff to ensure programme remains on track
Highlighting potential issues to operational and commercial staff
Assisting project delivery including tool box talks, site inductions & issuing permits
Ongoing checking quality of works and monitoring programme

Technically what is the ideal candidate will posses:

Experience working as Site Agent for a main contractor (preferably tier 1).
Experience delivering highways schemes for Highways England and Local Authorities.
Proven track record delivering civil engineering schemes
Strong people and communication skills
Ability to prioritise site activities to ensure the success of projects
