Kenton Black Finance are assisting a business in the Carlisle area, as they seek to appoint an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk on a full-time basis. With an annual turnover of circa £280m, this business are well established and continue to see growth through establishing long lasting client relationships.

Your New Role as the Purchase Ledger Clerk:

As the new Purchase Ledger Clerk, you will report directly into the Purchase Ledger Manager. Your duties will be as follows:

• Processing incoming documentation in compliance with financial policies and procedures
• Ensuring all expenditure is correctly coded to the appropriate expense code
• Processing approved invoices ready for payment
• Undertaking the payment of creditors in an accurate, efficient & timely manner
• Dealing with supplier queries
• Liaising with branch staff to ensure the process runs smoothly

Experience & Qualifications Required to Apply:

A clear communicator with exceptional administrational skills and the ability to meet deadlines. Accuracy and flexibility are key to being successful in this role.
