This organisation are well-respected in their chosen industry and are seeking a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their already well-oiled team. Your new role as the Purchase Ledger Clerk:
As the Purchase Ledger Clerk, you will report directly to the Finance Manager.
Key duties:
• Responsible for the daily management of the accounts payable mailbox for the entire business
• Accurate inputting and coding of purchase invoices and credit notes
• Maintain accurate supplier accounts including matching, batching, coding to appropriate accounting codes and projects where applicable
• Administer all company credit cards e.g. spending limit, cancellations etc. and reconciling on a monthly basis
• Prepare accruals for purchase invoices at month end
Experience & Qualifications required to apply:
To be considered, you must be possess at least 3 years’ experience in a similar role. Ideally you will have good Excel and computer skills, excellent communication abilities and excellent attention to detail skills. In addition, you will be capable of problem solving, possess analytical skills and capable of working well under pressure. You must be able to demonstrate that you are well-organised, able to work to strict deadlines, possess strong negotiation skills and able to be discrete when required.
