This role will initially start predominantly in the role of Purchase Ledger, with progression and exposure to further finance functions in the near future.

Your new role as Purchase Ledger Clerk:
As the Purchase Ledger Clerk your initial role will be focused mostly on Purchase Ledger with some involvement in wider accounting duties, with support from the Finance Manager. The role is expected to grow into a more varied remit which will include additional tasks such as credit control, payroll and general accounting assistance.
Key duties include:
• Matching and checking invoices against purchase orders
• Processing and coding invoices with the ERP system
• Preparing monthly aged creditor reports & statement reconciliation
• Preparing and advising on supplier payments
• Maintaining the purchase ledger to ensure accuracy
• Reconciling and revaluing the purchase ledger at month end
Experience & Qualifications required to apply:
You ideally will have had prior experience in the position of Purchase Ledger Assistant, and working towards or completed your AAT. You will have the ability to work methodically with accuracy and a keen eye for detail. Strong Excel knowledge is required and be comfortable operating and learning new systems.
