Quality manager

I am currently recruiting for a food testing laboratory who are looking to hire a Senior quality manager

Job responsibilities:

Responsible for managing all quality activities for the site and leading the quality team
Responsible for reviewing quality processes across the business and identify any areas that require improvement
To be competent in analysing complex data from multiple data sources and producing reports
Responsible for assessing risks and recommending risk mitigation plans according to ISO17025 standards
Responsible for leading internal and external quality audits
Ability to interpret accreditation requirements and technical and advisory notifications to develop strategies and innovative approaches to quality management of.

Qualifications required to do this role:

Degree in Science or equivalent
Proven experience in managing quality functions within a food testing UKAS 17025 accredited laboratory
Proven experience in leading and conducting audits
Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills
Ability to interpret complex results, identify, analyse trends and patterns, and make sound recommendations
