Position: Quantity Surveyor

My Client are a regional based main contractor that started a housing division 18 months ago. Due to the success for the housing team and increased workload there is a requirement for a Quantity Surveyor from a New Build Housing background. The Ideal candidate will be based in West Yorkshire of South Yorkshire.

The Role:
• Working in Office and Site based Environments
• Responsible for cost management on new build housing projects
• Reporting to a Commercial Manager
• Client evaluation
• Client payment certificates
• Raising variation
• General client reporting
• CVR process
• Subcontractor orders and payments
• Sub contract variations
• Work with the buyer for material pricing and orders
• Working on future developments

The Candidate:
• The ideal candidate for the role will come from a Quantity Surveying background and have recent experience in new build housing
• Someone who is able to work autonomously
• A confident communicator both written and verbal
• Excellent IT Literacy
• Able to work across the Yorkshire region
