Quantity Surveyor – NEC Experience

Salary up to £50k + Fuel Card + Pension + Profit Share (flexible)

I am recruiting for a Quantity Surveyor who is NEC savvy to carry out the following, who will be managed and overseen by one of my clients construction directors.

The role would best suit a Quantity Surveyor who is looking for to work for a Civil Engineering business who pride themselves on delivering quality projects and work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve this.

Duties to include:

Monthly valuations on contracts up to £4 million pounds, generally using activity schedule or BOQ.
Value changes, ensuring contract timescales are strictly adhered to.
Carry out costs v valuations analysis.
Carry out subcontractor valuations.
Ensure site costs are up to date.
Report accurate figures to the directors.
Be full conversant with the full Microsoft office suite.
Preferable – be able to use Microsoft project, or willingness to learn.

Given the nature of the role you spend quite a large portion of your time working on various sites across the area, before reporting back to the office.

Package flexible dependant on the level of person.
