We have an exciting opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor to join a specialist Civil and Environmental Engineering Contractor to work on a variety of civils schemes located throughout the country for a range of government agencies and private clients. These schemes are located near to inland waterways and coastal areas, an environment where the business is a leading specialist.

The ideal candidate will have experiencing leading civil engineering projects set in the marine environment (coastal, rivers and canals) with experience of earthworks, deep drainage, structures, flood defences, 278’s, remediation and other general civil engineering aspects. Typical projects are valued between £500k to £6m.

Ideally based in the Midlands and able to commute to the clients offices in the Ashby de la Zouch area, the successful candidate will be autonomous and able to manage their own diary, working from both home / regional offices as well as having to travel nationally and on occasion lodge overnight whilst visiting sites.

This role is due to the expansion of the commercial team with an order book already filled for 2022. As a result the client is open to a range of candidates experience from a strong Assistant Quantity Surveyor who is looking for the next step in their career to already established Project Quantity Surveyors and Senior Quantity Surveyors.

Competencies:
• Degree educated in relevant field.
• Relevant construction qualifications including CSCS card.
• Driving license.
• Based in the Midlands.
• Relevant project experience.

Salary / package:
• Between £35,000 - £55,000 basic salary DOE
