The Company:
Here is an exciting opportunity for Quantity Surveyor to join a Tier 2 Main Contractor based out of the Milton Keynes area who enjoy a c£100 million turnover with expected growth of over the next 18 – 24 months.

The client is a company with amazing growth plans and the ideal candidate will want to progress with their career and grow with them. The company work within a variety of sectors such as Education, Healthcare, Commercial, Student Accommodation, Retail and Industrial.

The role:
Assist in the preparation, processing and selection of estimates, bids, and tenders to demanding timescales.
Assist in the development of the procurement programme.
Prepare and monitor cash flow forecast for designated projects.
Prepare and submit monthly applications for payment to the Client/Client’s representative.
Prepare monthly valuation reports.
Submit invoices for certified value and ensure payments are received on time.
Liaise with Contract Managers to establish the project specification and requirements.
Attend and contribute to meetings with work colleagues and or Clients/Customers when necessary, building relationships and demonstrating excellent communication skills.
Monitor the contract progress, assess, and report any changes that may affect project costs and or time scale.

To be successful for the role:
Experience as a Quantity Surveyor as a Number 1 on site.
Experience with projects of a value between £1 - £25 million +.
Full UK Driver’s License.
Ambitious and Career Driven.
Based in or commutable to the Milton Keynes area.
